Operating between the National Bank of Hungary and its framework Pénzügyi Békéltető Testület as an important pillar of domestic ADR, it promotes the development and spread of a culture of ADR. To this end, for the third time, with the help of organizations and colleagues committed to AVR, it is organizing a conference on the topic of online dispute resolution for digital challenges in 2018. At the conference, renowned foreign and domestic lecturers approached the challenges of the digital world from different angles, as well as their answers and working solutions.
Ákos Bóna from for the Digital Future Foundation opened the summary of the first day of the conference by saying that for him the alternative word was the main motto of the event, ie to deviate from the usual practices and methods. In the case of the 4th Industrial Revolution, that is Industry 4.0, this thesis is given, who is unable to renew or develop, and is left behind forever. He said that there was a lot of useful domestic (Digital Court Project) and English good practice on dispute resolution on the first day and how digitalisation is already affecting the entire financial sector. It is important that, with the spread of the Internet and the rapid development of the digital economy, we should not talk about local projects and good practices, but rather use the European context to remain competitive with China and the US. Motivation and Education: Fully connected concepts in the digital world, we have a huge responsibility in “preparing” the young generation, as current trends show that 80% of current jobs will be lost within 15-20 years: What’s next? What will the digital future bring? Conservative researchers say the past is the future. Unfortunately, there are many counter-examples in the modern world that refute this phrase! “I wish AVR, from a recurring initiative, succeed in creating an EU-wide prize and event in the long run,” he concluded.
